Franz Gsellmann´s World Machine

Check out some pictures of Franz Gsellmanns World Machine in Knaab, a little village in Styria, Austria, published in the new issue of Alps Magazin. Franz Gsellmann was inspired by a photograph of the Atomium of the Universal Exhibition of 1958 in Brussels published in the local press and the next day he travelled to Belgium. Back at home he started to build the "world machine", collecting all kind of pieces, household items, toys, statues of saints, different kind of engines and so on...
